Admission will be granted on the basis of observation cum interaction of both the parents during the period is mandatory. Parents will have to bring these testimonials:-

Class I To XII

Class 1st onwards a formal written test will be conducted in English language to check the linguistic proficiency, mathematical ability and scientific environmental studies for assessing the suitability for admission to the next class. There shall be General Awareness test also for classes V to XII. Parents will have to bring these testimonials when they come for the written test.

Rules

  The last date to deposit fees is 10th of the month / Quarter.

• 2

  A fine of Rs.10/- per day will be charged if fees is not paid till the prescribed date.

  All the dues must be cleared before commencement of examination . Fee defaulters will not be permitted to appear at the examination. .

  Admission Fees are not refundable .

• 5

  Any student who wants to withdraw transport services of the school must submit on application to the Principal in the beginning of the session only. No application given in the middle of the session will be accepted.

Withdrawal Procedure

Any Parents/Students who wishes to withdraw from the school, can forward notice /application citing reason and enclosing evidence and after a week (After result declaration) his/her request will be granted after the clearance of all the dues.

  One complete month tuition fee is waved off if whole fee of the session is deposited at a time before May month of the session.

  Third child of the same parents will be given 50 % discount in tuition fee.

  50 % scholarship will be given to those students who achieve 95 % marks in board exam and 25 % is given to those who gets 90 % to 94 %.

  Students qualified in NTSE/STSE/ Olympaids or other reputed exam are given 50 % scholarship .

Admission

  Admission is granted purely on merit basis regardless of religion ,caste ,creed or community.

  First registration form is to be filled up with necessary & accurate information regarding the student along with the documents required.

  Parents can obtain the registration form and the prospectus on payment of Rs.500/- in cash from the school office..

  Admission will only be taken on behalf of assessment/test of the students .His /her interest and other behaviors also be observed .

  The principal reserves the right to reject any application for admission without assigning any reason. However conditional & provisional admission may be given.

  Minimum required age of a child is 3 years for Play Group / Nursery & 6 years for class Ist, 14 Years in IX (Before July)

It will be the personal responsibility of the parent to inform the school in writing, if the student is undergoing any medical treatment / medical ailment / allergies etc. at the time of registration.

Uniform:

The school has prescribed specific uniform for students to come in the school. Parents must ensure that the child should come in proper uniform as per the schedule. ( As on Thursday & Saturday there is T-shirt & white pant – House uniform ) His/her belt, tie,shoes,socks and I-card be with him/her daily.

Winter : Jacket ( Nursery to V) & Blazer ( Std VI-XII)

The hair & nails, should be kept short and teeth must be clean. Child should not use school uniform other than school occasions.

Code & Conduct of Students

  Students always must keep themselves neat & tidy, well groomed, in proper uniform, polished shoes, proper hair cut, tidy nails etc. in the school or on occasion.

  They must carry the school diary to school daily. Any communication/remark/circular/note is given from school must be shown to the parents and get signed.

  They should be smart in the way they sit, stand , walk and talk. Be polite with every one, especially respectful to the olders, ladies and visitors/guests and little children.

  Students should be punctual and present on time at all places/occasions where they are supposed to be like assembly , classes, games, activities and social campaign.

  They must protect the school property and not misuse , damage, or mutilate its possession and must keep the surroundings clean. Dustbin must be properly used .

  They must not raise their voices, shout or use foul language or indulge in any quarrel , fight or violence.

  Name slip must be on all the notebooks , books and belongings with class and section.

  Students must dedicate themselves as whole heartedly to their studies in the school and at home . Inculcating the habit of respecting teachers at schools and parents at home will help them accomplish whatever goal they want to achieve.

  Students are not allowed to use ornament, make up and bring pocket money, toys etc in the school if teachers have not asked the same through diary/circular..

  Students should keep right frame of mind and maintain decency &decorum in the school premises .

  Students suffering from infectious disease should not come to the school in view of other students well being.

  Students must not use unfair means in test/ exam. Don't misguide the teacher for marks.

  While in the school bus one should not lean out of the window and should avoid pushing and pulling others . Students should offer seat to younger children and girls and get down with great care. Don't cross the road alone and always keep to the left.

  The students have to use English as their school language.

  The students have to complete all HW /Assignment given by school in their true sense cleanly & completely. CW & HW will be assessed to add the marks in the examination..

  Students projecting objectionable behaviors, having irregular attendance, showing disrespect to teachers, acting rudely could be expelled from the school.

  No other literature other than school books, library books should be brought to the school.

  Firing crackers on Diwali, splashing colour on Holi and plucking flowers or uprooting any plants are punishable offence.

  They should always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to their parents , brothers and sisters , in school to teachers and mates and any unattended visitors whom they happen to come across in school premises.

  They ought to be remain truthful, honest , obedient and dutiful at any cost.

  Students should not write , scratch or engrave graffiti on desks, chairs and other surface. Keep the furniture clear off the wall. Don't drag the furniture unnecessarily.

  While moving in corridors , or using stair case , students should walk in a line and keep themselves to the left. Running or overtaking others will lead indiscipline. Keep silence when the bell goes to change the period in the class.

  Switch off the electric appliances, computer before leaving class. Savewater & go green.

  It is compulsory for every child to attend morning assembly. No student will stay back in the classroom without permission.

Guidelines for parents

Regarding the use of student’s diary:

  Keep updated your contact details and present residential address in student’s diary profile page immediately after the change.

• 2

  Class time table has been mentioned in the students diary , please arrange the student’s bag accordingly.

• 3

  The list of all important contact no has been pasted in the students diary .You can contact them when required.

• 4

  Any notice/remark can be given by the class teacher/subject teacher/administer in the diary .Please go through these pages daily and put your sign as the token of acceptance . You can also write your reply there .

• 5

  The parents can also make any complaints, give feedback or suggestion in the diary.

• 6

  Please check HW everyday and put your sign. Make sure that the child has done his/her HW properly.

• 7

  Make the child learn all the prayers, mantra and useful information mentioned in the diary at home positively if possible.

Attendance & Leave:

  Every student is expected to maintain 80% attendance record as per the school requirement and rules, failing which he/she may not be allowed to appear in the final examination so don’t make your child absent frequently from school in general case.

A proper leave application must be submitted to the school regarding the leave. In case of any illness of more than two days , medical certificate is to be submitted. Always sign along with your contact no on the leave application otherwise it will be not be accepted.

Prior information with valid reason must be given to the school for leave either by phone, Whats app ,e-mail or in person on the same day or before.

Students absent for more than a week from school without information or reason will be turned out from the school. Re- admission only will be granted only at the discretion of the school authorities.

No leave shall be granted during the examination except in serious medical condition , supported by a valid medical certificate.

Students will not be allowed to go home during school hours in general case. Parents themselves may escort the child in emergency after school permission . Remember- The child will not let go home alone.

The child must not be absent on important days like National festivals, religious festival, sports days , annual day function, other school activities or competitions days. For absence, the child may be fined and the child only will be allowed to come to the school on next day with his/her parents.

Uniform

Ensure that your child must come in proper school uniforms as per scheduled days (as there are two types of uniforms have been prescribed by the school) . Belt/shoes/shocks and I- card must be tagged daily. Hair and nails should be kept short and clean. He/she needs to be always neat , clean & hygienic .

Lunch

Please take care that the child should bring nutritious lunch. Pickles & junk food must be avoided. Toffee/chocolates /namkin /biscuits in lunch are not allowed.

All the items like Tiffin , water bottle, hankie, notebook, books should bear the name & class of your child clearly.

Transportation

It is the duty of the parents to drop & pick up the child at/from the designated bus stop on time. Inform the school in case child does not reach at home/stoppage timely .

Examination

Child absent from any examination will not be re-examined in any case. Please fix your schedule as per school examination. Medical leave will be considered in medical emergency.

Parents- Teachers Meeting (PTM):

It will be organized as per the schedule mentioned . Your presence is highly expected & appreciated in the interest of your child. Progress report will be discussed & remedy will be decided accordingly. You will have to report the next day if you are unable to attend the meeting on schedule day after giving information during assembly hours.

Birthday

Every child shall be greeted on his/her birthday in the morning assembly. The child is allowed to come in civil dress on that day. Child, if so desire can celebrate the birthday of the child in the school by distributing the toffee to the mates of his/her own class only.

Withdrawal

If a child has to be withdrawn from the school, give written application by 20th March otherwise you may not get the TC timely when required.TC will always will be issued after the declaration of final result. Fees will be charged if you apply TC after April and onwards……

Participation

Encourage your child and prepare them to take part in all the competitions , activities , events , activity in morning assembly, social campaigns etc. However the information in written will always be provided to the parents through circular or school diary in advance.

General rules

The School reserves for itself the right to terminate the child for his/her unsatisfactory progress in study or indisciplineed behaviors .

The school reserves the right to make the child participate in any programme/events/activities conducted in the interest of the school. The child may be assigned any work or part to play. His/her photograph may be published in magazine/hoarding or in an ad film of school.

Approaching school teachers for tuition are not recommended.

Parents can not enter in the classroom of his/ her ward directly without permission.

Don’t send the child if he/she is suffering from any contagious or infectious disease in the welfare of the other students in class.

No mobile/money/jewelry/calculator/sharp items/magazines story books/playing items etc are allowed in the school.

Disciplinary action will be taken against the student found guilty of damaging school property , indulging in quarrel, fighting or misbehaving with the students or staff. The damage if done will be borne by the parents.

Any problem with the child or complaint should not be discussed in front of the child at home otherwise he/she may loose the respect of teachers in class and will not study well.

Purchase the books, notebooks and stationary item within a week of the session begins otherwise the student name will not be forwarded for the next class.

The parents may send complain by e-mail (sunhillacademykgb10@gmail.com) or drop the letter in school letter box apart from regular correspondence through school diary.

  Report the school 5 minutes before arrival time ( Before 8.25) in well dressed and groomed.(विद्यालय समय से पांच मिनट पूर्व विद्यालय पहुंचे | विद्यालय यूनिफार्म , जूते , आई –कार्ड , बाल, नाख़ून बेल्ट आदि का ध्यान रखें )

  Seek advance permission in case you want any leave. Inform the school in emergency . Deposit leave application with sign of your parents & mobile no.You will only be allowed to go along with parents In case of half day .(अति आवश्यक कार्य हेतु ही अवकाश लें , अग्रिम सुचना दें / अनुमति लें ,हमेशा अवकाश हेतु प्रार्थना पत्र अपने कक्षा अध्यापक को दें जिस पर अभिभावक के हस्ताक्षर व मोबाइल न. अंकित हो|आधे दिन का अवकाश केवल अभिभावक के आने पर ही दिया जायेगा )

  Complete all given H.W. timely with clean & tidy. ( दिए गए सभी तरह के गृह कार्य को साफ –सुथरे तरीके से पूरा करें , उसकी जाँच करवाएं )

  No student must be seen roaming / walking in the corridor ( Varandha) before , during or after lunch without permission. Walk in line, Don’t hands in pocket ( किसी भी बच्चे को अनावश्यक विद्यालय कोरिडोर में घुमने या बात करने की इजाजत नहीं है )

  No student can change his/her seat without the permission of the concerned class teacher in any of the period. ( बच्चे बिना कक्षा अध्यापक के अनुमति के बिना अपना सीट परिवर्तन नहीं करेंगे |)

  You must avoid holding hands together , putting hand on someone body/back, pulling or pushing one another during schooling.( विद्यालय कैंपस में हाथ में हाथ डालकर , कंधे पर हाथ रखना , किसी अन्य बच्चे को खींचना या धक्का देना बर्दास्त योग्य नहीं है| )

  Once the child is granted admission to the school , it is requested that the parents must be doubly vigilant to abide the rules & regulations of the school written in prospectus & in students diary.

  Mobile /money/jewelry/calculator/sharp items/magazines/story books/help books / spy camera/storages devices / playing items etc is not allowed in the school.

  Parents are not allowed to enter in the classroom in any case without permission of the principal.

  All the communication with the school should be addressed to the principal or with designated person authorized by the school .

  Parents should take seriously the notice/circular/remark/ letter given by the school.

  HW/Home study / notices/class test marks given by school must be signed by the parents/ authorized guardian daily.

  It is the duty of the parents to update the address , bus stoppage & contact no immediately to the school if it is changed.

  It is the duty of the parents to drop & pick up his/her child from the bus stoppage timely. Inform the school in case the child does not reach at the stoppage on scheduled time.

  In case of any breakage done by the child , the cost of loss or damage will be borne by the parents only.

  Students will only be allowed to appear in the final exam/assessment if all the dues are clear. Transfer certificate will also be only issued in that case.

  If the students is to be withdrawn from the school, a written intimation should be given by the parents before the final exam conducted (at least before one month ). Failing to this , security money if deposited will not be refunded and current month tuition fee will be charged in which TC is applied .

  The students who fails twice in the same class will have to leave the school.

  Disciplinary action will be taken against the students found guilty of damaging school property, indulging in quarrel , using bad words, fighting with other students , committing theft, or misbehaving with the staff, disturbance in bus etc.

  Any problem with the child or complain regarding school should not be discussed before the child at home otherwise he/ she will loose the respect of teachers in class and will not study well. However meet to the principal to sort out the problem.

  The school management / principal is at liberty to alter or repeal any rules & regulations of the school.
